THESIS
- Ukrainian politics is a part of global processes. Even though political players strive to update their tools and become more technological, there is some gap between their desire and ability to do it.
- Ukraine is the arena of geopolitical battle. This fact means that Russia broadly uses a hybrid weapon like information attacks, fakes, inflaming confrontation between social groups, spreading of untrust. We can expect the more intensive infringement in very sophisticated forms given the upcoming election.
- We have some vulnerabilities, so there is an urgency to care about appropriate defense, especially in respect to critical infrastructure.
- The core factors of succeeding in a hybrid war are the media- and cyber literacy of the citizens. There is a reason for the implementation of the mass education projects for shaping the literacy, as for any “magic button” can’t protect us against the mentioned attacks.
